Wrens, like humans, express love best in song (without the cheesy lyrics). As well as impressive singing, Wren courtship involves building. The male Wren half-builds lots of nests and takes the female on a tour of them in the hopes she’ll like one enough to mate with him. What a charmer. If keen, she’ll finish the nest and off they’ll go. Wren pairs typically break up and go on to new partners the next year. But not ours! Your Metalbird Wrens will stay together forever in your garden (of love).
