GIVE AN E-GIFT VOUCHER

HOW TO PRINT

  1. Open gift voucher from your email inbox.
  2. Click “View your gift voucher”
  3. Click “Print”

HOW TO EMAIL

  1. Open the email and click "Forward"
  2. Enter the recipient's email address into the address box
  3. Attach a personal message if you wish, then click send.

HOW TO REDEEM

  1. On your gifted voucher 'copy' your unique code
  2. Select your favourite birds and continue to cart.
  3. “Paste” your discount code into the Gift Card or Discount Code box and click apply.

Gift cards: a simple gesture with a few important details. Here’s what you need to know about buying, using, and managing a Metalbird gift card.

Buying a Gift Card

  • You can purchase digital gift cards directly from metalbird.co.uk.

  • Once payment is confirmed, the gift card is emailed to the address you provided at checkout — ready to forward, print, or surprise someone with a smile.

Using Your Gift Card

Gift cards:

  • Can only be redeemed at metalbird.co.uk

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash (unless required by law)

  • Cannot be used to purchase other gift cards

  • Must be applied at checkout using the unique code

  • Retain any unused balance for future use

If your total order exceeds the gift card value, you can pay the rest using any accepted method (Shopify Payments, PayPal).

Expiry

Good news — Metalbird UK gift cards do not expire. Use them whenever the mood strikes.

Refunds for Gift Card Purchases

If you return an item bought with a gift card:

  • The refund will go back onto the original gift card (or a new one if needed)

  • If you used both a gift card and another payment method, we’ll refund the non-gift card part first, then any balance to the gift card

Cancellations

Changed your mind? You can cancel an unused gift card within 14 days of purchase. We’ll refund it to your original payment method within 14 days of confirmation.

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

Treat gift cards like cash — we can’t replace them if they’re lost, stolen, or used without permission, unless:

  • You have proof of purchase, and

  • The card hasn’t already been redeemed

Misuse or Suspicious Activity

We reserve the right to pause or cancel any gift card if we suspect fraud, misuse, or suspicious activity. We’ll investigate before taking action.
