2. Eligibility

To place an order, you need to be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under UK law. You also agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information when ordering. We reserve the right to decline service if anything looks fishy (or feathery in a bad way).

3. Orders & Payment

We accept secure payments through Shopify Payments and PayPal. When placing an order, you confirm that:

Your payment details are valid and authorised
You’re buying for personal use (not resale)
Prices and product availability may change
We may cancel or limit orders if there’s fraud risk, inventory issues, or suspicious activity

Everything on this site — the birds, designs, photos, and words — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. All designs are the original work of Metalbird UK Ltd and used with permission under global rights. Please don’t copy, use, or distribute anything without our written permission. We’re flattered, but also legally prepared.

5. User Conduct

Use the site responsibly. You agree not to:

Tamper, hack, or interfere with the site or systems
Post anything false, unlawful, or misleading
Use bots, scrapers, or unauthorised automation
Impersonate anyone else or give dodgy info

We reserve the right to restrict access or take legal action if you mess with our flock.

6. Product Guarantee

Our birds are crafted from premium Corten® steel, made to weather beautifully and last a lifetime outdoors.

If your bird has a defect or issue related to materials or craftsmanship, email info@metalbird.co.uk and we’ll make it right.

This guarantee doesn’t cover normal wear, improper use, or accidental damage.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

We do our best to keep things smooth, but here’s the legal bit:

We don’t guarantee the site will always be error-free or available 24/7
All services and products are provided “as is”
We’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability will never exceed the purchase price of the product in question

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law remain unaffected.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
