Description

Five birds, endless possibilities.

Our Wooden Hanging Decorations are festive, simple, and full of charm. Featuring five of our best-selling bird silhouettes, they offer a creative twist on traditional tree ornaments. Pop them out, add your favourite string or ribbon, and hang with heart.

Handcrafted in a UK family-run factory using sustainably sourced plywood, each decoration carries the warm scent of woodfire from our cutting process. Once you’ve hung them, use the remaining board as a stencil for cards, crafts, or art projects.

✓ Five classic bird silhouettes — All in one set
✓ Eco-friendly — FSC-certified sustainably grown & sourced wood
✓ Made in the UK — Crafted in a small, local factory

Are the birds double-sided?
They have detail on both sides, but the cutting edges may have slight smoke marks — part of their handcrafted look!

What age are they suitable for?
They’re safe for most ages, but younger children should be supervised due to small parts.

Can I paint or customise them?
Yes! They’re perfect for personalising with pens, paints or glitter.

Are they eco-friendly?
Absolutely. They’re made from FSC-certified plywood in a zero-waste facility.

Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.

When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.

That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.

This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.

The Patina Process:

At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.

The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.
