Small birds with sweet impact.
Find a sheltered spot like a tree trunk, fence post, gate, or even a raised garden bed.
Hold the bird at a slight downward angle for strength and a natural perch look.
Tap the stake gently into wood using a small hammer or mallet.
Check that it's snug and doesn’t wobble — give it a light shake to be sure.
Step back and adjust for the best silhouette view amongst your plants or posts.
Top Tip: For hardwood or aged timber, pre-drill a small pilot hole to help guide the stake in cleanly.
What birds are included in this bundle?
You get one mini Swallow, Robin, and Woodpecker — three of our most loved UK species.
Are they weatherproof?
Yes — they're made from Corten steel, designed to weather beautifully over time.
Do they come with gift packaging?
Yes! Each bird comes in a branded envelope, perfect for stocking fillers or gifts.
Can I split the bundle into individual gifts?
Definitely. Each bird is individually wrapped, so they’re ready to be gifted separately.
Are they suitable for small gardens or balconies?
Yes — these mini birds are ideal for pots, planters, and even window boxes.
Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.
When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.
That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.
This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.
The Patina Process:
At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.
The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.
what’s the word on the bird?

I had already bought the large robin as a gift then decided to buy the three small ones for myself. They are all so lovely I can't choose a favourite.

Very Welcome Christmas Present
Given as a Christmas Gift and brilliantly received. My wife was absolutely delighted and we've managed to find a location in clear view of the Lounge in the Winter and patio in the Summer. Fascinated by the way they reflect the different light whatever time of day. Would recommend them to anyone.
Fabulous
I was given a wren as a birthday gift and loved it so bought many for birthday and Christmas gifts this year. Everyone loves them and are gifting to others !
Petite plot
Arrived promptly and well packaged. This was a present for a teenager with their own small garden to care for. They were delighted with them
Love everything metal bird does. The birds are great, the service and packaging is great - just wish I had a bigger garden so I could buy more! I own 4 and have also given the robin to a bereaved friend too - "when robins appear, a loved one is near". Really like the baby bird bundle as feel they are a more realistic size.
Stunning birds :eagle:
Previously purchased the large Robin for a Fathers Day present. Loved it so much, I bought the baby bird bundle as a retirement gift, for a friend who loves being in the garden. She was bowled over with them and cannot wait to put them in her garden. Thank you  and definitely recommend.
Gorgeous gifts
I purchased 2 sets of the baby bird bundle. Lucky enough to gain a free Robin. I photocopied the instructions and then boxed them individually as Christmas gifts. All recipients were delighted with them. I will definitely be purchasing more. Couldn't be happier.
