A love story in steel.

Meet our Robin Pair — a celebration of seasonal love in the British garden. While robins don’t mate for life, many return to the same partner every spring, just like old sweethearts.

These two are forever perched together, crafted from 3mm Corten® steel and designed to rust into a warm, natural finish. Whether you're honouring a relationship or simply celebrating nature, this piece brings charm and meaning to any space.

Perch this perfect pair in five easy steps:

    1. Choose a surface that’s sturdy and wooden — Think fence rails, gateposts, or sleepers.
    2. Angle the stake slightly downward — This gives a realistic perched effect.
    3. Tap gently into place — Use a mallet or hammer. Pre-drill hardwoods if needed.
    4. Check it’s firm — A soft tap test is all it takes.
    5. Smile. You’ve just installed love.

Top Tip: Nestle them among climbing roses or lavender for a heart-melting display.

What do the two robins symbolise?
Connection, reunion, love, and seasonal magic.

Is this suitable for anniversaries or weddings?
Yes – it's one of our most gifted pairs for romantic occasions.

    Will it rust?
Only in a good way — the patina seals and protects the steel.

    Is this lightweight or heavy?
    It’s a solid 300g — designed to endure outdoors.

Can I leave it out in winter?
Yes. In fact, robins are most visible in colder months — keep the theme!

Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.

When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.

That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.

This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.

    The Patina Process:

At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.

The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.

what’s the word on the bird?
