AS SEEN IN
Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.
When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.
That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.
This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.
The Patina Process:
At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.
The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.

I’ve bought these birds as gifts for different occasions and they’ve always been loved by the recipients. We then bought this robin for my mother-in-law for Christmas after my father-in-law sadly passed earlier this year, with the quote “robins appear when loved ones are near” attached on the label. Well, I don’t think it could have been received better. She was truly touched and could hardly find the words to express how much she loved it. We’ve put it up in her garden not far from the window so she can always see it. Sorry for the sad tale but it’s just to say these birds are so lovely and can be meaningful in so many ways. I’d highly recommend these as an unusual gift that keeps on giving! They’re of excellent quality, arrive quickly, are so simple to put up and then age so beautifully. Thanks so much!
I bought a Robin last year for my daughter, as a family my late mum and dad loved Robins so as a perfect gift, I have bought a robin for my sister and brother in law for Christmas, it's such a unique piece just can't resist. Highly recommend !!
Love it. I purchased this for myself as I’m hoping it may encourage a real robin. Good weight to it and beautifully crafted. Just a shame I can’t find a place where it shows a background of sky to accentuate it. However I plan to put it on my fence just outside my lounge window so I can easily see it each day.
I bought a Robin for my neighbour as she believed her dear departed Father came back as a Robin and would be constantly visiting her garden every year. I was bought a Blackbird for the sane reason as my late Father said he'd come back as a Blackbird. It gives me comfort, and I know the Robin will give my neighbour comfort too. They are a delightful garden feature and a great talking point. Only downside for me is I wished I had painted the Blackbird with a black netal paint to keep it black, but I think the Robin will look better going the rusty colour.
Beautiful little Robin
The 2nd metalbird in our garden. I think it could be addictive! They look awesome. Beautifully made and they add something special.
