MEET THE BIRD
That tail does most of the talking.
A rounded body, a long tail and an oak leaf underneath. Our Long-tailed Tit keeps those recognisable details in a single steel silhouette. Give it a fence post or wooden planter where its outline stands clear. For the birdwatcher who spots the little things.
MADE FOR OUTDOORS
Steel that changes with the seasons
Corten is unpainted weathering steel. Outdoors, its surface develops a rust-coloured patina. Colour and timing depend on the weather and exposure. The dark finish in a photograph is not a permanent painted colour. Allow for rusty runoff, which can mark pale paving, pots and nearby surfaces.
INSTALLATION
Choose a perch. Tap it in.
Choose sound, solid timber with room around the silhouette. Hold the branch firmly and tap the thick end of the integrated mounting spike into the wood with a hammer or mallet until secure. Avoid striking the bird itself. Hard timber may need a pilot hole. Use a fence post or wooden planter if you do not want to fit it to a living tree; check our tree-care guidance before using a living tree.
READY TO GIVE
Packed flat. Someone in mind.
Choose a bird for someone who will enjoy finding it a place. One Long-tailed Tit in flat Metalbird gift packaging.

Should have put this under Greater Woodpecker!! This beautiful woodpecker was bought for my son and daughter in law and adorned a huge tree in their ‘back yard’ in Cranford, New Jersey. I have bought many birds for friends. Great gift! Super quality. Really strong.
Bum barrel I bought the long tail tit/Bum barrel for my husband. We both adore it

perfect present Bought as a present. Excellent workmanship and prompt delivery, Would certainly recommend
Very happy - looks great This was a Christmas present for my father, and he loved it. The whole family agree that it looks great. Unfortunately it can't disguise the construction work behind the garden, but it makes a great addition to the existing ornaments and feeders.
Loved giving as a gift now hanging in the back garden.
BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR FRIEND We were lucky enough to be at our friend's the day her gift arrived by post and so not only see her delight when opening it but we too could see our gift 'in the flesh' Lovely design, quality and the whole ethos of your company I love!
A little cutie Bought this for friend who is moving house, for her new garden. I was gifted a Robin and absolutely love it, a subtle garden sculpture once you’ve seen you always see it against the sky.
Beautiful
Best Present Gave two birds for presents at Christmas they were so delighted.
Gorgeous Bought as a gift for my daughter in law and she loved it. She always comments on the birds in our garden and was delighted to now own one of her own.
Beautiful gift, so well made This was a Christmas gift for my mother and she absolutely loved it. She had seen a couple before and was thrilled to own one her self. It’s so nice to be supporting local art and to have something so eye catching on the garden.
Beautiful Christmas present for mum. Due to illness, mum spends a lot of time bird watching from the house. This beautiful sculpture knocked into the tree is a lovely addition to the garden x

Beautiful Bought as a present for my brother in law, a keen bird watcher. He loves it.
Love the birds! This one is a Christmas present so not up yet. Owl is on look out in Cornwall and our robin in Gloucestershire!
Excellent Great service. Quick delivery and birds good quality. Bought as Christmas gifts.
Beautiful and unique gift I bought this for my dad's 70th birthday and it's a lovely gift. There was a slight mix up with the order originally but it was sorted out quickly with no issue. Great component and great product.
Great present! Bought for a friend who loves it! Beautifully crafted - it looks great!
Beautiful and wonderful craftsmanship. We now have a collection of metalbirds and are always receiving compliments on them.
A present to my wife to accompany her robin,
Very good design, but not to be outside as they rust When the birds came I was delighted, very nice and elegant. I put them outside and within 2 months, they are completely rusty. The birds are expensive, for this price you could have an anti rust paint
First class. It is providing lots of pleasure
Long tailed tit This was bought for a friend's birthday, which isn't until this weekend. I am sure she will be absolutely delighted with her present. I will let you know. Thanks
Lovely quality Really pleased with my bird. Good quality and nice packaging too.
I am really happy with my order. This is a present for a friend, which is yet to be given. I have in my garden the Wren and Chicks which is looking lovely just turning to the rust red colour
Lifts my spirits
Loves it! This was a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it. He is fascinated with how it's been made and loves the intricacy of the design. It's not up yet as we are waiting to have some trees taken out at which point we will site it where it can be seen from around the garden and house.
All beautifully made and of good quality
Perfect gift! I bought this for my Mum for Christmas. We'll be putting it up in the garden soon. We're just deciding the perfect spot for it. She loves it and I'm looking forward to watching it settle into the garden environment.
