The Patina Process:
At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.

I absolutely love these birds and have bought several for Christmas presents this year. The mini ones are totally fab for teacher gifts and I look forward to my kids giving them as they are just something a bit different. They look great and I can’t decide which one to keep for myself!

Remembrance of a dear Father My granddaughter lost her Father suddenly and we remembered the poem about the robin being the bird of remembrance, so we purchased the robin and put in the garden as a constant reminder.
Saxby’s Birds Thanks for providing such a wonderful item. My wife loves it and did not want it to go outside and go rusty. I hammered it into the swing anyway in a location to to pick up on the near by house’s apex. Corrosion has now started and it is currently a nice orange which my wife says is beautiful and she is now glad it has been positioned outside. Just wish we had more garden for further additions
